WLMouse Huan (IEMs)
Product feel
The box is very fancy for the price of $305.71. As expected from WLMouse, the unboxing experience is top notch. The visuals are also just as good. Even the carrying box is the one that ended up in my work backpack. Nothing feels cheap from the product itself, except the wires which take a while to unbend from the factory folds.
Bonus features
These IEMs were designed gaming first, which include a separate cable for usb-c with the microphone attachment. My friends say it sound like a headset mic, but it sounds clear at least. They like my Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ sound more than this one lol. The 3.5mm/4.4mm audio jack is a ‘L’ bend jack, which is my preferred kind of plug.
Usage
These IEMs are currently my outdoors units mainly used with my Fiio Disc. The audio quality is where it is lacking a bit compared to my Kiwi Ears Astral, but still the audio sounds full and quality. The major lacking point is how these earphones don’t separate each sounds as well as the Astral. Is that what soundstage is? (Idk) The eartips were on the softer side which didnt work well with my ears. I couldn’t get a proper seal, which is why I used my Kiwi Ears Astral and K-Bear 07 eartips instead.
Overall
Satisfying to use on the daily paired with my Disc, but initially disappointed because I owned the Astral before these. They look good visually and have a solid sound quality. It took me a week or 2 to finally appreciate these, but they are nowhere near as bad as I make them sound like. It’s just that my comparison was already directed to my Astrals. And those are really hard to beat already.
